Dress Code
We’ve listed “Chateau Elegance” as the cue for the wedding day dress code. Think rustic French countryside - linen jackets, light suits, flowing dresses, and outfits you’d happily wear at a château garden party all work perfectly. No need for black tie or any tie really - it's going to be 25-30 celcius! If it feels like you could wander through a vineyard with a glass of wine in hand, you’re probably on the right track!
Also - especially for ladies - if you’re staying in the town centre of Saint-Émilion, make sure you pack an extra pair of comfortable shoes for walking around. The village is full of steep cobbled streets and some of the most slippery slopes you’ll find in any medieval town in Europe!
Arrival Time
Aim to arrive no later than 2pm on the day. The ceremony will start at 3pm.
Transportation
You can either drive to Chateau Ad Francos with your own car - there will be plenty of parking space, or you can take the shuttle bus we've arranged between the venue and Saint-Émilion town centre. The buses will depart from Saint-Émilion at 1.30pm. For the return trip, there will be 3 vans on-demand between 12:30am and 3:30am. See Venue & Logistics page for more details.
Food and Beverages
There won't be any food before or during ceremony. Light bites will be served after the ceremony (c.3pm). For the concert & wine tasting session, we will serve ham and cheese. The "real" food will start with the aperitiv shortly before dinner. We recommend having a big breakfast or a light lunch before arrival.
Gift Policy
We have a strict no-gift policy. You coming all the way to Bordeaux is the best gift we could wish for!
